The Queen’s Park Championship League

The Queen’s Park Champsionship League is a competitive community baseball league based in Queen’s Park, Glasgow Southside.

The league is made up of four ‘home teams’. All players in the league are members of the Sunflowers. The home teams are the Crossmyloof Cowboys, Queen’s Park Wreckers, Mount Florida Gators, and the as-of-yet-unnamed Blue Team. Anyone in the Sunflowers can join the league, no matter their experience or knowledge of the game.

Teams play each other in a schedule throughout the summer months, building up points on the scoreboard. Teams get 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss. The league culminates in August, with the semi-final and final deciding who gets to hold the Queen’s Park Cup! 

2024 was the inaugural year of the Queen’s Park League. 2025 marks the leagues second year!
